This individual will establish technical standards and reference architectures that enable the organization to adopt AI securely and at scale.The AI Security Architect will also provide technical leadership to AI engineering teams and partner with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, data, cloud, and infrastructure teams to ensure security controls are embedded throughout the AI lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine enterprise reference architectures and technical security standards for secure AI/ML adoption.Design security controls across AI data pipelines, model training, model serving, MLOps, LLMs, Generative AI, and agentic AI systems.Lead security architecture reviews for new AI initiatives, products, platforms, and third-party AI/vendor solutions.Identify AI-specific security, privacy, data protection, and architectural risks before production deployment.Design enterprise patterns for AI guardrails, output validation, human-in-the-loop controls, and secure AI interactions.Establish least-privilege access controls for AI agents, applications, models, APIs, and services.Define appropriate identity, network, data, and trust boundaries for enterprise AI platforms.Partner with enterprise architecture, data platform, infrastructure, cloud, and cybersecurity teams to embed AI security controls consistently.Develop security architecture patterns supporting on-premises, Azure, AWS, GCP, and SaaS-based AI deployments.Apply Zero Trust, IAM, network segmentation, encryption, data governance, and privacy principles to AI environments.Evaluate emerging threats involving Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, model security, prompt injection, sensitive-data exposure, and AI supply-chain risks.Provide recommendations to leadership regarding emerging AI security technologies, risks, architecture decisions, and roadmap priorities.Mentor AI Engineers and other technical teams on secure AI design and implementation practices.Provide architecture governance to ensure implementations comply with established security standards and reference architectures.Contribute to enterprise AI governance policies, risk frameworks, security controls, and technical control mappings.Align AI security architecture with frameworks including NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, and OWASP Top 10 for LLM Applications.Communicate complex architecture decisions, security risks, and recommendations to both engineering teams and executive stakeholders.Required Qualifications8+ years of experience in Security Architecture, Cybersecurity Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, or related roles.Recent hands-on experience architecting security controls for AI/ML, Generative AI, LLM, or enterprise data platforms.Strong understanding of end-to-end AI/ML system architecture, including:Data pipelinesModel trainingModel serving/inferenceMLOpsGenerative AI / LLM platformsAgentic AI systemsStrong knowledge of security and privacy risks associated with enterprise AI/ML systems.Experience designing AI security guardrails and secure architecture patterns.Strong knowledge of Cloud Security Architecture across Azure, AWS, and/or GCP.Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM), least privilege, Zero Trust, and network segmentation.Experience with enterprise data security, data governance, privacy, and access-control principles.Knowledge
