Through the delivery of our operations and maintenance services, you'll make it simpler and more seamless for our municipal clients to operate safely and efficiently, empowering communities to focus on what matters most to thempeople.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nJob Duties & Responsibilities:\r\nMaintain the site computerized work management system.\r\nEnsure Maximo and LMBuildings work status accuracy including time recording and log entries.\r\nAssist in all move activities including assistance to the Facility Maintenance Services technicians with inspections and other tasks as required.\r\nEnsure all access, resources; skills, materials and tools available prior to scheduling job to insure limited down time productivity.\r\nComply with all established safety rules, company policies, and procedures.\r\nAssist in maintaining clean, orderly and hazard-free work areas.\r\nAbility to read and understand technical manuals and prints, ability to do various forms of paperwork (written), possess adequate math skills commensurate with the requirements of the trade.\r\nHere's what you'll need\r\nQualifications\r\nMust be US CITIZEN\r\nHigh School Diploma or GED\r\nValid Driver's License\r\nTwo (2) years furniture installation and material experience required.\r\nLift/carry up to 50lbs.\r\nUnderstand written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.\r\nEffective communication skills (oral and written).\r\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and to manage multiple priorities/projects simultaneously.\r\nProvide commercial furniture installation and plant move operations which includes furniture set up, deliveries, reconfiguration or existing furniture as well as assisting in recycling and surplus operations.\r\nStrong communications skills, both verbal and written, are a must across all levels of the workforce.\r\nKeen attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time.\r\nWillingness to acquire and maintain forklift certification required.\r\nAbility to obtain and maintain any required security clearance including any future requirements or changes.\r\nIdeally, you'll also have:\r\nOne (1) year experience working Office Suite programs (i.e. word, excel, & outlook) preferred\r\nWorking Conditions:\r\nSafety is a core value at Jacobs.
