In fact, you will find our technology in every aspect of modern life: in AI, medical equipment, 5G, smartphones, autonomous driving, and more.\nJob Responsibilities\n\nSupport cleanroom process development by processing wafers through semiconductor tools, performing measurements, documenting and analyzing data and communicating results\nWork closely with key stakeholders such as process, equipment engineering, product support, facilities and metrology teams to meet and exceed project goals\nGain expertise in hardware, process and process-hardware interactions to make continuous process improvements, help with tool maintenance and support product development schedule\nSupport logistics of cleanroom operations for process team by efficiently tracking and managing inventory of wafer and their storage containers (FOUPs, FOSBs)\nSupport coordination of process demos for customers by receiving wafers, planning and executing demos and shipping back to customer\nSupport management of chemistry and chemical vessel supplies for process team by working closely with process, operations and supply chain teams\nNote: Highly preferred for the person in this role to work second/third shifts (i.e. evening and night) to maximize productivity.\n\nQualifications\n\nAssociates degree in a Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Chemistry, Physics or a technical field\nExperience working with capital equipment in semiconductor industry in a clean room environment, strongly preferred\nKnowledge of EPI, CVD, RTP and wet cleaning processing would be a strong plus\n0-5 experience\nMust be able to lift up to 40 lbs\nInitial position is specifically for 2nd shift (1-10pm) after initial training on 1st shift\n\nSkills\n\nDemonstrated track record of process/equipment/product support in an engineering environment\nHands on experience with spreadsheets, data analysis and documentation\nBasic problem-solving skills\nStrong safety first and housekeeping focus\nStrong cleanroom protocol habits and execution\nEffective communication skills (both written and verbal)\nAbility to work in a team environment\nAbility to work alone and/or with limited supervision\nAbility to multi-task and complete assignments error-free\nAt ASM we are committed to supporting our people, enabling them to develop their talents and perform at their best.
