Available on both the App Store and Google Play, we help customers discover and order specialty products from Latin, Asian, African, and other international markets, products they can’t find on mainstream delivery platforms.We’re a small, scrappy founding team based in the New Orleans metro area, and we’re looking for a creative, self-driven intern to own our marketing and content strategy from the ground up.The OpportunityThis isn’t a typical internship where you shadow someone or file spreadsheets. You will have full creative autonomy to experiment, test strategies, and figure out what resonates with our target audience. If something works, it becomes the company’s marketing playbook. If it doesn’t, we learn and pivot, fast.You’ll work directly with the founding team and have real ownership over outcomes, not just tasks.What You’ll Do• Create short-form video content (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts) showcasing the app, the stores, and the ordering/delivery experience• Design visuals, flyers, and promotional graphics for in-store displays, social media, and digital campaigns• Develop and manage social media accounts (content calendar, posting schedule, community engagement)• Experiment with grassroots and guerrilla marketing strategies to drive app downloads in the New Orleans metro area• Help develop marketing materials (bilingual English/Spanish a huge plus) targeting local Hispanic and immigrant communities• Track and report on content performance (engagement, downloads, reach) and iterate based on data• Occasionally visit partner stores in the Kenner/Metairie area for content capture (photos, video, store walkthroughs)Who You Are• Comfortable with video editing tools (CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar)• Experience with graphic design tools (Canva, Figma, Photoshop, or similar)• Strong eye for visual storytelling—you know what makes people stop scrolling• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently with minimal oversight• Based in or near New Orleans and able to travel locally for occasional content shoots• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college/university program (marketing, communications, film, design, or related fields preferred but not required)• Bonus: bilingual in English and SpanishDetailsTypeUnpaid internshipHours~5-10 hours per week, flexible scheduleDurationSummer 2026 (with potential to extend)LocationRemote with occasional local travel for content captureAreaNew Orleans, Kenner, Metairie, and surrounding areasReports toFounding teamWhat You Get• Full creative ownership — you’re not executing someone else’s vision, you’re building the marketing function from scratch• Real startup experience — work directly with founders on a live product available on both app stores• Portfolio material — everything you create is yours to showcase• Flexible schedule — work when it works for you• Potential for equity or paid role — as the company grows, so does your role
