This role offers the opportunity to work on all phases of project development while collaborating with experienced professionals across multiple disciplines. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for delivering high-quality engineering solutions.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nPrepare engineering plans, designs, and drawings for land development projects.\nPerform site feasibility analyses, conceptual planning, and site layout design.\nDevelop grading, drainage, stormwater management, utility, and erosion & sediment control plans.\nSupport project permitting activities and coordinate with regulatory agencies.\nConduct field investigations and site assessments as needed.\nPerform hydrologic and hydraulic calculations and modeling.\nUtilize Civil 3D, stormwater management software, and other engineering applications to produce project deliverables.\nParticipate in project quality control reviews, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company and industry standards.\nCoordinate effectively with internal teams, clients, consultants, and public agencies.\nQualifications:\nBachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.\nMinimum of 2 years of land development experience.\nEngineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.\nStrong understanding of site civil engineering principles and land development practices.\nExcellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.\nPreferred\nProficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D.\nExperience with Bentley StormCAD or similar stormwater modeling software.\nFamiliarity with GIS applications.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.\nExperience with permitting processes and regulatory agency coordination.\n#LI-JC2\n#INDHP\n\nWhy Join NV5?\nAt NV5, you'll have the opportunity to work on meaningful projects that make a lasting impact on communities across the country.
