This role coordinates certification efforts cross-functionally, ensuring alignment with internal procedures and regulatory standards. The position operates with a high degree of independence while collaborating with multiple departments to support timely, compliant certification outcomes.\n\nDuties and Responsibilities\n\nPrepare, execute, and finalize all protocols and deliverables associated with certification work\n\nCompany focal for RTCA (DO-160), ASTM, SAE, and MIL STD test standards\n\nCoordinate all certification activities through proactive communication with impacted departments and personnel\n\nProvide guidance, as needed, to company personnel on FAA design and production approval holder requirements\n\nOversee certification processes and documentation to ensure compliance with internal standards and applicable regulations\n\nReview and evaluate certification procedures, identifying opportunities for improvement and efficiency\n\nEnsure accurate documentation and timely completion of certification deliverables\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support project timelines and quality objectives\n\nProvide guidance and support to team members and stakeholders on certification-related requirements\n\nEducation and Experience\n\nBachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience)\n\n4–7 years of relevant experience in certification, engineering, quality, or a related function\n\nStrong understanding of certification processes, documentation practices, and compliance standards\n\nExcellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills\n\nAbility to manage moderately complex projects independently while contributing to team-based initiatives\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities\n\nAll Employees Shall\n\nComply with the EH&S Policy and applicable regulatory and company EH&S rules and requirements.\n\nReport to supervision conditions or practices that are either unsafe or that may adversely impact the environment, to ensure prompt resolution of potential hazards.\n\nAttend scheduled EH&S training program\n\nActively support the organization’s efforts to meet or exceed EH&S goals and plans.\n\nRecommend improved EH&S practices.\n\nMust be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and third parties.
