State Licensed Underwriting Manager

A company is looking for a Regional Underwriting Manager to oversee the underwriting department and ensure service level agreements are met. Key Responsibilities: Coach and mentor Underwriters on processes, guidelines, and system work Act as the primary contact for Underwriters regarding questions and clarifications Manage the underwriting pipeline and ensure compliance with service level agreements Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education/experience DE, SAR, and LAPP certifications are required; USDA experience is a plus 5+ years of Mortgage Underwriting experience with knowledge of FHA, VA, and Conventional guidelines 5+ years of underwriting supervisory experience Experience with Encompass LOS and knowledge of compliance requirements
