Title: Data ModelerLocation: Oakland, CA – 100% RemoteDuration: 7+ months contract with possible extensionResponsibilities:The Data Modeler shall have the following knowledge and be responsible for the following tasks:Bachelor's or master's degree in computer/data science technical or related experience.7+ years of hands-on relational, dimensional, and/or analytic experience (using RDBMS, dimensional, NoSQL data platform technologies, and ETL and data ingestion protocols).Experience with data warehouse, data lake, and enterprise big data platforms in multi-data-center contexts required.Strong data modelling experienceNeeds knowledge and experience with SnowflakeExperience with Azure CloudExperience with Tableau and Power BIHuge bonus if they have experience with health care / insuranceKnowledge and hands-on experience with start schemaGood knowledge of metadata management, data modelling, and related tools (Erwin or ER Studio or others) required.Ability to work independentlyPerform other duties relevant to project as assigned
