Chief Executive Officer (CEO)Location: Flexible (U.S. / Global)Company: Private Equity–Backed Data Center DeveloperThe OpportunityWe are partnering with a high-growth, private equity–backed data center development platform seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the business through its next phase of scale and value creation.This is a rare opportunity to take full ownership of a platform positioned at the intersection of digital infrastructure, hyperscale demand, and energy transition, with a clear mandate to scale operations, expand market footprint, and drive a successful exit strategy.The RoleThe CEO will be responsible for defining and executing the company’s strategic vision, driving operational excellence, and delivering superior returns for investors. You will work closely with the Board and private equity sponsors to scale the platform organically and through M&A.Key Responsibilities:Strategic LeadershipDefine and execute a clear growth strategy aligned with investor objectivesIdentify new market opportunities across hyperscale, enterprise, and edge deploymentsPosition the company as a leader in next-generation data center infrastructureGrowth & DevelopmentDrive end-to-end development strategy (site selection, land acquisition, permitting, design, construction, and delivery)Scale pipeline of powered land and delivered MW capacity across key marketsLead expansion into new geographies and strategic partnershipsCapital & Investor ManagementAct as primary interface with private equity sponsors and BoardLead capital raising efforts (debt/equity) to fund growth initiativesDeliver against investment thesis and drive EBITDA growth and valuationOperational ExcellenceBuild and lead a high-performing executive leadership teamImplement scalable processes across development, construction, and operationsDrive cost discipline, risk management, and project executionCommercial StrategyDevelop and maintain relationships with hyperscalers, colocation clients, and enterprise customersLead major commercial negotiations and long-term lease agreementsStrengthen go-to-market strategy and brand positioningExit Strategy ExecutionPrepare the business for a successful exit (sale, recapitalization, or IPO)Optimize financial performance, scalability, and market positioningCandidate ProfileProven experience as a CEO, President, or senior executive within:Data center developmentDigital infrastructure (data centers, fiber, power, or adjacent sectors)Track record of scaling a business in a private equity-backed environmentDeep understanding of data center development lifecycle (land, power, design, construction, leasing)Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L, capital raising, and investor relationsDemonstrated success in building and leading high-performing teamsExperience working with hyperscalers (AWS, Microsoft, Google) and/or major enterprise clientsM&A and integration experience strongly preferredBachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferredKey AttributesStrategic, commercially driven, and execution-focusedEntrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate at paceStrong leadership presence and ability to influence at Board levelResilient, adaptable, and comfortable in high-growth environmentsCompensationHighly competitive base salaryPerformance-based bonusSignificant equity participation aligned with value creation and exitWhy This Role?Lead a platform in one of the fastest-growing sectors globallyDirect access to capital and institutional backingAbility to shape and scale a business from a pivotal growth stageMeaningful equity upside tied to performance
