Together, we advance your career.\nResponsibilities:\nTHE ROLE:\nThe Project Management Office (PMO) within AMD’s Data Center GPU (DCGPU) group has an immediate opening for an Engineering Materials and Assets Program Manager. In this role, you will be working closely with the NPI Materials Manager and Datacenter management team. You must thrive in a fast-paced environment, highly ambiguous environment, have strong organizational skills, a demonstrated capacity for creative problem solving, excellent communication skills, and a desire to work with cross-functional teams to enable the development ground-breaking products. Your contributions will make a pronounced difference to future AMD GPUs for High Performance Computing (HPC) and Machine Learning (ML).\n\nTHE PERSON:\nPrepare scenarios to utilize available materials, systems and equipment to support key program deliverables and customer engagements.\nIdentify risks and define mitigation strategies to address\nRespond to program challenge resulting from supply issues, engineering/product issues and budget\nProvide clear and timely communications to multiple stakeholders to enable decision making, ensure cross-functional alignment and articulate risks and opportunities\nManage complex Server and DCGPU Bill of materials (BOMs) for both customer specific and rest of world\nManage Programmable Field Replaceable Unit Code used by engineering teams and manufacturing teams\nWork cross functionally with all engineering teams (Board Engineering, Packaging, Mechanical, Export Compliance, Returns, and Manufacturing to name examples)\nParticipate in Core Teams as required\nWork in multiple time zones including night calls as required\nManage moving material in Agile BOM system from pre-production to production\nKEY QUALIFICATIONS:\nUndergraduate degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or a related multi-disciplinary program or equivalent experience preferred\nAbility to deal with rapid development cycles\nWorking knowledge of program management methodologies and supply chain principles\nProficient in productivity tools including Microsoft Teams, Excel.
