Made Possible.\n\nPosition Purpose:\nThe Material Handler assists the Finishing Department, ensuring safe practices are followed to achieve quality and productivity goals.\n\nJob Functions:\nObserves company safety rules and complies with safety practices.\nWorks closely with Supervisor and Finishing Manager to ensure necessary materials are available.\nDisplays work habits that set example for peers.\nSet up and run Combi machine.\nSet up and run Packsize machine\nEnsure all finishing lines have proper materials to run each line/job effectively.\nAssist finishing lines with red bins and gaylords as necessary\nPerforms general housekeeping functions in assigned areas.\nResponsible for compliance with all facility food safety, food defense, and quality policies and procedures including product safety (GMPs)/Sanitation policies and procedures.\nMust be supportive and involved in GPI efforts for LEAN, 5S, Six Sigma and other Continuous Improvement programs and processes.\nPerforms all other duties as assigned.\n\nJob Specifications:\nMust be 18 years or older\nMechanical/technical aptitude\nComputer skills\nColor acuity test required\n\nGPI’s Benefit Program\nCompetitive Pay\n401(k) w/employer matching\nHealth & Welfare Benefits\nMedical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage\nShort and Long-Term Disability\nLife Insurance\nAccidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance\nFlexible Spending and Health Savings Accounts\nVarious Voluntary benefits\nAdoption Assistance Program\nEmployee Discount Programs\nEmployee Assistance Program\nTuition Assistance Program\nPaid Time Off + 11 paid company holidays each year\n\nApplications accepted on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.\n\nGraphic Packaging is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
