This role focuses on systems engineering, architecture development, and technical integration across Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) capabilities. You’ll work closely with engineering teams, developers, and security stakeholders to design, document, and implement secure, compliant Zero Trust solutions.\n\nPosition Responsibilities\n\nProvide systems engineering and technical support for Zero Trust implementation efforts\n\nCollaborate with ICAM capability teams to define requirements, develop system architecture, and produce design documentation\n\nPerform technology assessments and support risk mitigation activities\n\nProvide hands‑on support for configuration management, installation troubleshooting, and cloud-based technologies\n\nApply industry, federal, and DoD standards and policies to system designs and implementations\n\nCreate and maintain ICAM Zero Trust documentation including release notes, installation guides, user guides, frameworks, SOPs, and implementation plans\n\nWork with technologies such as REST, Oracle/MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, JSON, XML, Docker, AWS, NiFi, and Single Sign-On solutions (OAuth and SAML)\n\nResearch and analyze cloud security environments and architectures\n\nSupport Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities and DoD accreditation documentation\n\nIdentify capability gaps and recommend enhancements for ICAM services\n\nDefine implementation processes and outline hardware and software considerations\n\nAssist software development teams with requirements tracking, sprint planning, design input, and testing support\n\nBasic Qualifications\n\nBachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering is required or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience\n\n15+ years of relevant experience\n\nDemonstrated experience supporting Zero Trust implementations in a systems engineering capacity\n\nExperience working with ICAM capability teams to define requirements and develop architecture\n\nHands‑on experience with configuration management, installation troubleshooting, and cloud technologies\n\nKnowledge of industry, federal, and DoD security standards and policies\n\nExperience producing and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation for ICAM and Zero Trust initiatives\n\nProficiency with REST, Oracle/MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, JSON, XML, Docker, AWS, NiFi, and Single Sign-On technologies (OAuth and SAML)\n\nExperience researching and analyzing cloud security environments\n\nFamiliarity with the Risk Management Framework and DoD accreditation processes\n\nStrong problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify capability gaps and system enhancements\n\nExperience supporting software development teams with requirements tracking, sprint planning, design input, and testing\n\nAn active TS/SCI with Polygraph\n\nOther Qualifications & Desired Competencies\n\nExperience supporting large‑scale enterprise or mission environments\n\nAbility to translate security mandates into practical system implementations\n\nStrong collaboration skills across engineering, development, and security teams\n\nSalary Range\n$190,000 – $250,000\n\nCompensation & Benefits Notice\nThe pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
