Mortgage Loan Processor (Intermediate Level) Overview We are seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Processor to deliver high‑quality service throughout the residential lending process. This role supports members from application through closing, ensuring loans are processed accurately, timely, and in compliance with all regulatory and internal requirements. Key Responsibilities Process and review loan files for:1st MortgagesHome Equity LoansHome Equity Lines of Credit (HELOC)Construction, Lot, and Home Improvement Loans (purchase and refinance)Review loan conditions including appraisal, title, flood certifications, and income documentationCalculate basic income and verify financial documentationPrepare and distribute initial disclosures in compliance with TRID and federal guidelinesOrder and track third‑party documentation (appraisals, title, flood)Prepare closing packages and coordinate loan closingsManage loan pipeline and workflow to meet required timelinesComplete loan funding and provide first‑level escalation supportMaintain proactive communication with members, branch staff, and internal partners Additional Duties Support HELOC and Home Improvement Loan draw conversionsMonitor HELOC expirations and prepare required 3‑ and 9‑month notices Qualifications 3+ years of mortgage or home equity loan processing experienceCandidates with slightly outdated experience will be consideredExperience with first‑time purchase and equity loans requiredStrong knowledge of Texas 1st Mortgage and Home Equity lending requirementsWorking knowledge of Dodd‑Frank, ATR, and TRID regulationsFamiliarity with loan origination systems (FISERV Velocity, OSI/DNA a plus)Excellent communication, organization, and time‑management skillsDetail‑oriented and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environmentProficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel Experience Level: Intermediate Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richardson, TX. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
