The candidate will be responsible for setting up and maintaining dies in plastic injection molding presses to ensure efficient production processes. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined and have a natural understanding of how machines, tools, and other mechanical systems work.\nShifts available:\nMonday - Friday: 2:30pm - 11:00pm\nSunday - Thursday: 10:00pm - 6:30am\nModerate overtime is expected for this role so frequent weekends are expected.\nResponsibilities\n- Set up and install dies onto stamping presses\n- Adjust machine settings using logic controllers for proper operation\n- Conduct CAM programming for die fabrication\n- Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions of dies\n- Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate setups\nSkills\n- Proficiency in using hand tools for die setting and maintenance\n- Experience with stamping press operations and die setting procedures\n- Knowledge of CAM programming for die fabrication is a plus\n- Ability to work with precision measuring instruments for quality control purposes\n- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations\nWhat Makes Aims Advantage Different?\nAims Advantage is a local employment agency that has been helping great people find great jobs in the Grand Rapids and surrounding areas since 1995.
