This position will travel from Ocracoke Island to Beaufort and Virginia Beach some days of the week.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAbility to drive large delivery vehicles all over the Outer Banks safely to deliver products to all retail operationsAbility to read and interpret purchase ordersLoading and unloading of merchandise safelyAbility to lift and move merchandise using appropriate dollies and forklift equipmentMust be able to work independently with minimal supervisionDelivers supplies/equipment all retail locations as requestedMust maintain professional demeanor while in retail operationsMaintains and helps with warehouse storage areas for ease of loading and unloadingDistributes internal mail to all locationsRequirementsMust be over 18.Must be able to pass a background check with a clear driving record.Must be detail-oriented and highly organized.Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.Can be 3-4 days a week or full-time: flexible opportunities available for a qualified candidatePhysical Requirements The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 75 to 100 pounds. The employee is required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Ability to drive company vehicles in heavy traffic safely and long distances.
