This role supervises day‑to‑day security operations, enforces park policies and procedures, and responds to incidents with professionalism, sound judgment, and a guest‑focused approach. The Security Supervisor serves as a visible leader on property, balancing firm enforcement with calm, respectful communication. They support training, scheduling, and performance of Security team members, assist with incident documentation and investigations, and collaborate closely with Operations and Guest Services to proactively prevent issues and resolve situations efficiently.\n\nEssential Job Functions\n\nLead Security Team: Supervise, coach, and evaluate security personnel; assign shifts, responsibilities, and monitor performance to ensure effective coverage of all areas.\n\nEnsure Safety & Security: Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests, employees, and property; proactively identify and address potential safety hazards.\n\nIncident Response: Respond to and manage incidents, accidents, or emergencies according to established protocols; document reports accurately and timely.\n\nPolicy Enforcement: Enforce Park rules, safety standards, and regulations consistently, while maintaining a professional and guest‑focused approach.\n\nCollaboration: Work closely with Operations, Guest Services, and other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordinated response to situations.\n\nTraining & Development: Assist in onboarding, training, and ongoing development of Security team members; ensure staff understand emergency procedures, policies, and guest service expectations.\n\nLoss Prevention & Risk Management: Monitor for theft, vandalism, or suspicious activity; implement measures to reduce risks and prevent incidents.\n\nGuest Interaction: Serve as a visible presence in the park, providing guidance, assistance, and reassurance to guests when needed.\n\nReporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and security documentation in compliance with company policies.\n\nOperational Support: Assist with park openings, closings, special events, and crowd management as needed.\n\nAdditional Responsibilities And Requirements\n\nAttends all required training and pre‑shift meetings.\n\nDemonstrate excellent communication skills with guests, team members, and supervisors to ensure a smooth and positive guest experience.\n\nPerforms other duties or special projects assigned to support business needs.\n\nFriendly, approachable, and customer service‑oriented attitude.\n\nStrong communication skills and ability to provide clear and concise information.\n\nAbility to remain calm and professional in difficult or stressful situations.\n\nMust be able to work outside in various weather conditions and stand for extended periods.\n\nAbility to follow detailed procedures and maintain focus during repetitive tasks.\n\nFlexibility to work in various areas of the park as assigned.\n\nYou must be able to wear the required uniform and adhere to the dress code.\n\nAbility to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and guest satisfaction.\n\nQualifications, Education, And Experience\n\nProven experience in a supervisory or leadership role in security, law enforcement, or a related field (hospitality or entertainment industry experience preferred).\n\nHands‑on experience in safety, crowd management, emergency response, and incident documentation.\n\nStrong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.\n\nExperience in scheduling, training, and performance management of staff.\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills; able to interact professionally and courteously with guests, team members, and management.\n\nAbility to remain calm and composed under pressure while resolving guest or operational issues.\n\nKnowledge of safety regulations, emergency response protocols, and loss prevention techniques.\n\nFamiliarity with security systems, surveillance, and basic reporting/documentation procedures.\n\nStrong observational skills and attention to detail.\n\nAbility to make sound judgments quickly and responsibly.\n\nHigh level of integrity and professionalism; a visible role model for the team.\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred.\n\nCertifications in CPR, First Aid, or other safety/emergency response training preferred.\n\nCognitive and Physical Demands\n\nAssess situations quickly, determine appropriate actions, and elevate to Director when needed.\n\nRemain calm and respectful during conflicts or stressful situations;
