The role is the platform technical authority, responsible for configuration, integration, role-based access, workflow, and API design on the selected BOAT platform.This is a full-time, hybrid role aligned to core business hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern. Primary work happens at a contractor facility in the National Capital Region; on-site presence at DOT Headquarters, 1200 New Jersey Ave SE, Washington, DC, is required within one business day of Government request.Primary DutiesBOAT Platform Build and ConfigurationEstablish the BOAT platform within the DOT environment, in coordination with EITSSBuild the user-facing web interface that captures questions, forms, and supporting documentationConfigure platform components (process models, interfaces, records, integrations) to deliver the Crash Causal Factors Program PoC scopeLead platform upgrades, patching, and configuration management across the base period and option periodsAuthentication, Authorization, and WorkflowImplement FMCSA user authentication using DOT MyAccess and external user authentication using Login.govImplement role-based access for authenticated usersImplement the case workflow that tracks records through the handling process and enables effective FMCSA responseBuild and maintain workflow notifications, escalations, and audit trailsFile Handling, Data Integration, and APIsBuild file upload and storage capability for narrative reports, images, and three years as a senior or lead developer on federal IT effortsDemonstrated hands-on build experience on a Business Orchestration and Automation Technologies (BOAT) or low-code platform such as Appian, Pega, ServiceNow, Microsoft Power Platform, OutSystems, Mendix, or UnqorkDemonstrated experience integrating low-code applications with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs, identity providers, and document storesExperience implementing federal single sign-on patterns using Login.gov, SAML, and OIDCExperience supporting a Security Assessment and Authorization (A&A) effort that resulted in ATO for a FISMA Moderate or higher systemTechnical KnowledgeWorking knowledge of AWS application services applicable to FMCSA's AWS VPC environment, including EC2, S3, RDS, API Gateway,
