Additionally, the incumbent will communicate effectively with all staff, ensuring to track Nursing employees concerns. The incumbent will also maintain and order medical supplies as needed for the nursing department.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nMaintain schedule for Certified Nursing Assistants (C.N.A.s) and Nurses (RNs and LPNs)\nReduce overtime to the best of his/her ability in the nursing department in conjunction with the DON/Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) and Human Resources Director\nAssist in hiring new C.N.A.s and Nurses on an as needed basis communicating with the DON/ADON and HR Director\nMaintain accurate time records for the nursing department; ensuring to monitor attendance (Call-Offs, Tardies, and No Call, No Shows)\nResponsible for timely ordering and stocking of medical supplies for the facility\nEnsure that all nurses stations are stocked with the necessary supplies\nOrganize nurse's stations on a weekly basis\nOrganize all rented equipment (i.e. beds, wheelchairs, etc.,) and send back when not in use\nAssist with schedule and transport of residents and assist with scheduling for escort needs\nOther duties as assigned\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nMust possess, as a minimum, a high-school diploma or its equivalent\nPrevious scheduling experience desired\nStrong oral and written communication skills\nProficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)\nAbility to multi-task, prioritize and work under pressure\nProfessional appearance and demeanor\nAbility to be resourceful, tactful, and proactive in dealing with any issues that may arise\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS:\nThe physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
