{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"f144cdf98c2a02b077f49c33","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/f144cdf98c2a02b077f49c33","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/f144cdf98c2a02b077f49c33","title":"Avionics Line Tech","description":"Avionics Line Maintenance Technician , with moderate supervision, performs inspection, testing, troubleshooting, repair, removal and replacement of aircraft instrument and avionics components and systems using various hand tools and test equipment to meet manufacturer’s specifications, FARs, industry standards and Duncan approved procedures in a safe and organized work area.\n\nEssential Job Duties\n\nInspect, perform basic troubleshooting, repairs, test, remove and replace avionics and instrument wiring and systems installed in various airframes using hand tools, test equipment and technical documents. Order necessary parts to complete the job.\n\nPerform basic checkout of aircraft systems that interface with avionics systems.\n\nEnter a description of work completed on the work order and properly document removal and installation of aircraft parts and components according to approved data and Duncan procedures.\n\nAssist bench technicians in resolving discrepancies in avionics and instrument components and systems removed from aircraft.\n\nAccompany flight crews to perform in-flight troubleshooting and adjustments and perform preflight evaluations of avionics and instrument systems.\n\nMaintain and clean line maintenance test equipment and work area as required. Operate ground support equipment as necessary.\n\nAttend factory and company technical classes and participate in OJT to increase technical skills and proficiency.
