You will also visit client sites to audit and inspect project compliance. Assists in administrative compliance activities as directed.\n\nAdditional Responsibilities\n\nResponsible for jobsite safety oversight.\n\nParticipate in kick-off meetings to ensure contractors are aware of project-specific EHS requirements.\n\nConduct safety orientation for all new workers.\n\nConsults daily with the IPS Superintendent regarding the coordination of safety activities and High-Risk Work Permits.\n\nReview contractor JSA’s for compliance with client /IPS requirements.\n\nAssist in the review of daily Safe Plan of Action (SPA) documents performed by subcontractors and ensure their quality and communication is suitable for the tasks described.\n\nEnsure contractor compliance with to project safety plan, including but not limited to, safety submittals, training and equipment inspection, and other documentation.\n\nEducates and advises the project team on safety guidelines and policies to ensure compliance with all State, Federal, and Local regulations and client requirements.\n\nInspect the job site regularly and record observations in Procore.\n\nAssist the Superintendent in managing the IPS SOR program.\n\nAdminister safety incentive programs.\n\nInvestigate all incidents and complete all paperwork and reporting required.\n\nMaintain safety documentation and records on the project\n\nThese records include JSAs, Toolbox Talks, Chemical SDS, Safety Inspections, Safety Permits, and any other records that may be generated on the project involving safety.\n\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nQualifications & Requirements\n\n8+ years of construction safety experience\n\nExperience on an active pharmaceutical or cleanroom construction project site\n\nPreferred Experience\n\nBachelor’s degree, preferably in Construction Safety or Safety Management\n\nCertified as an OSHA 500 Trainer\n\nPhysical Demands\n\nMust be able to stand, sit, and walk for prolonged periods.\n\nMust possess the ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl as required.\n\nMust be able to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.\n\nMust be able to climb ladders as necessary.\n\nWork Environment\n\nMust be able to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, which may include exposure to varying working conditions.\n\nMust be able to adhere to strict cleanroom gowning protocol.\n\nTravel\n\nYou will travel 40% of the time, or as necessary to complete duties.\n\nYou will visit Client sites and will be required to adhere to stated safety rules.\n\nYou may be assigned to a client for an extended period (1-2 years).\n\nOvernight travel is possible.\n\nYou will focus on construction field activity, and office time will be limited.\n\nYou will visit construction sites and will be required to take site safety training and adhere to site safety rules.\n\nSafety\n\nThis position is a safety-sensitive position.\n\nThe employee is designated for field work and attends activities at client sites where they work in construction, process, packaging, manufacturing, research, or other \"non-administrative\" areas.\n\nThe salary offered for this role is between $110,000 and $146,000, but the actual salary offered is dependent on experience, skill set, and education.\n\nIPS will not sponsor employment visas for this position\n\nAll interviews are conducted either in person or virtually, with video required.\n\nAbout Us\nIPS, a Berkshire Hathaway company, is a global leader in technical consulting, architecture, engineering, procurement, construction management, commissioning, qualification, and validation services for technically complex facilities.
