We support vehicle development, testing, and program management for major automotive manufacturers and Tier-1 suppliers, emphasizing quality, customer service, and technical excellence.You can get further details about the nature of this opening, and what is expected from applicants, by reading the below.POSITION DETAILSThe objective of this data collection program is to acquire a statistically representative distribution of real‐world traffic scenarios across the U.S. public road network, spanning all operational design domain (ODD) conditions, including weather, lighting, and seasonal variability.Main Duties & ResponsibilitiesDrivers will operate the vehicle independently and required to initiate and operate the client provided ADAS Data Collection system. Troubleshooting abilities are a strong attribute. Safe packaging and shipping of hard-drives is required. Data collection activities in various cities in the U.S. working Monday - Saturday is required. Sunday is considered a reset day (not paid) but may be requested if the project doesn't meet efficiency goals. Drive team members will interact with client project manager, engineers, and Kett personnel on a daily basis.Traveling to different areas of the U.S. for 10-12 consecutive weeks at a time.Project kick-off / initial training location: Michigan (company will fly you)Schedule/Shift Hours:Each vehicle will operate 6 days/week Monday – Saturday1st: 6:00 am - 3:00 pm2nd: 3:00 pm - 12:00 amShift times and schedule are subject to change to meet data collection requirementsDriving locations/Routes:Throughout U.S.Over the roadRequirements & Desired SkillsMust have at least a High School Diploma or GEDMust have your driver's license for at least 5 consecutive yearsMust have a clear criminal history (no felonies, no misdemeanors)Must be able to pass the pre-employment drug screen and background checkPreferred candidates with driving experience in their work historyPreferred candidates with previous traveling job(s)Preferred candidates with previous work experience being a supervisor/manager/lead/trainerMust be tech savvyMust have and know how to operate a smartphoneMust have experience driving in all types of weather conditions, to include snowMust be comfort driving a vehicle for long periods of timeMust be able to maintain professionalism with team members and engineersWe are looking for OTR experienced and Computer Savvy Candidates.Company DescriptionEstablished in 1953, Kett Engineering is a leader in the Automotive Test and Personnel Services industry.
