You'll have the room to grow, the flexibility to balance life with work, and the opportunity to better health worldwide, together.\n\nOur Team, Your Impact\nPosition Summary\nSupport maintenance of & upgrades to production & packaging equipment.\n\nShift: 3rd shift, Monday-Friday from 10:45pm-7:15am and some weekends if needed.\n\nEssential Duties\n\nSupport the installation and maintenance of production & packaging equipment\n\nPerform & support mechanics in performing routine equipment maintenance, troubleshooting on-site repairs\n\nProvide technical support & training for maintenance personnel and equipment operators\n\nLead equipment & process continuous improvement projects\n\nEnsuring that machinery, systems, infrastructure, and equipment run optimally with minimal downtime\n\nLead and/or assist with developing & implementing OpEx initiatives\n\nLead maintenance/Ops Techs in setting-up, reviewing and improving preventive and predictive maintenance procedures, practices & equipment\n\nWrite, lead & participate in Quality investigations\n\nSupport equipment qualification\n\nAdhere to all safety & cGMP regulations & procedures\n\nPosition Requirements\nAny equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.\n\nEducation / Certification / Experience\n\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent.\n\nMinimum of 3 years of packaging and/or production experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience, preferably in a pharmaceutical environment.\n\nSkills / Knowledge / Abilities\n\nKnowledge of Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), OSHA and related federal, state and local laws, codes, regulations and regulatory requirements\n\nWorking knowledge of and experience with electrical troubleshooting\n\nProven work experience as a maintenance engineer or equivalent\n\nAdvanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and heating systems\n\nWorking knowledge of automation & controls – hardware and software\n\nAbility to read system schematics\n\nAdvanced troubleshooting & problem-solving skills\n\nUnderstanding of safety and equipment procedures\n\nAbility to work with heavy equipment\n\nProficient in English usage, spelling, grammar and punctuation\n\nProficient at communicating clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing\n\nPhysical Demand Requirement\n\nIncumbents in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, pushing and pulling, stooping and crouching climbing and walking, vision to monitor, occasional lifting of equipment or materials weighing up to 25 pounds. Incumbents may be exposed to toxic materials, toxic gases, electrical hazards, and dangerous tools and equipment.
