Can also be located in Dallas, TX. 4 days per week on-site, Fridays remote.\n\nWhat you'll do:\nPrivacy Engineer will report to the Associate Director - Privacy, assisting in and supporting the development and administration of an Enterprise Data Privacy Program. The primary responsibilities for this position relate to Privacy by Design and Data Protection areas of the Bank's Enterprise Data Privacy program. This position collaborates with the first and second line of defense departments to support adherence to regulatory requirements.\nWork to align advanced technologies and Privacy by Design principles from the first stages of development and ensure that the data use meets established regulatory compliance needs.\nInteract with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications to new or existing software.\nPerforms regular privacy assessments of operational processes, identifying, and mitigating risks across the company through effective tools, training and guidance.\nActs as key interface to data science and analytics, data governance, IT, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) related stakeholders.\nDevelop reports in PowerBI and other reporting tools to enable visibility of Privacy-related metrics.\nManages responsible use of AI to automate Privacy-related tasks and reports.\nAssists with the development and maintenance of data inventory, data maps, and ROPAs.\nManage projects related to Privacy as needed.\nWhat you'll need:\n5+ years of privacy or data protection experience OR a graduate degree or concentration in privacy engineering.\nBS or MS degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, privacy engineering, or related field.\nRobust data literacy skills (e.g. finding and managing data, cleansing data, manipulating data).\nDemonstrated working knowledge of software engineering and/or cybersecurity fundamentals.\nStrong curiosity and the ability to solve problems creatively.\nHigh ethical standards, strong critical thinking, detective, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\nIntermediate to advanced knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.\nIntermediate to advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.\nIntermediate to advanced understanding of MS Office.\nIntermediate to advanced ability to foster and build relationships to achieve a common goal.\nIntermediate to advanced speaking and writing communication skills.\nCIPT certification is highly preferred; other IAPP certification a plus.\nProject management exposure and ability to effectively manage various deadlines and moving pieces, while communicating these effectively to stakeholders.\nDemonstrated skill in effectively communicating with all levels of management with a focus on collaboration and relationship management.\nPrevious leadership experience preferred.\n\nAbout Software Resources\nSoftware Resources, founded more than 3 decades ago, is a trusted staffing partner specializing in Technology (IT, Creative, & Marketing), Finance, & Accounting placements.
