In this energetic role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the movement, storage, and shipment of goods. Your proactive approach will ensure that materials are handled safely and accurately, supporting seamless supply chain processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse distribution, heavy equipment operation, and inventory management while contributing to a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. The shift starts at 9:30 pm, split day work week off Saturday night and one night during the week.\nPay: $19.50\nResponsibilities\nLoad and unload shipments using various heavy equipment including forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and crane systems.\nPerform order picking with RF scanners and manual methods to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.\nOperate material handling equipment safely in accordance with OSHA standards and safety protocols.\nManage inventory levels through proper materials handling, stock rotation, and recording transactions within the warehouse management system.\nAssist in shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming goods against purchase orders and preparing outgoing shipments.\nConduct manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting to move goods within the warehouse while adhering to safety guidelines.\nSupport warehouse distribution activities by organizing materials for storage or dispatch, ensuring optimal space utilization and accessibility.\nSkills\nProven experience in warehouse operations, including order picking, shipping & receiving, and inventory management.\nSkilled in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, load & unload machinery, and crane systems with mechanical knowledge of their functions.\nFamiliarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for accurate inventory tracking.\nAbility to perform basic math calculations for measurements, weights, and inventory counts.\nStrong understanding of safety protocols aligned with OSHA standards; committed to maintaining a safe working environment.\nExperience with manual handling techniques involving heavy lifting and materials handling equipment operation like pallet jacks.\nConstruction or industrial experience is a plus, demonstrating mechanical aptitude and familiarity with heavy machinery.\nThis role is paid and offers an engaging environment where your skills directly impact operational success!
