This is a hybrid position Preferably located in the Washington DC area.\n\nAs a Data Analyst, you will join a functional team of accomplished Data Scientists, Software Engineers and Data Engineers that deliver custom analytic solutions to our federal government clients. Some of your responsibilities will include: consulting with technical and non-technical stakeholders, exploring and analyzing large structured, semi-structured and unstructured datasets using SQL and/or Python, developing and deploying data visualization dashboards, and communicating data analysis results, dashboards and reports to end-users\n\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\n\nExperience with cleaning, management and processing large volumes of data.\nExperience building dashboards and reports using data visualization tools including Power BI, and Tableau.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address complex data issues.\nWork closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, understand business needs and to build towards technical solution or capability.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address complex data issues.\n2+ years of Data Analysis or Data Management experience.\nBachelor of Science degree in a relevant field such as statistics, computer science, economics, mathematics, analytics, data science, data engineering, business, or social sciences\nClearance Required\nProficient in SQL and Python for data exploration and data analysis to identify issues, trends, and patterns with the data.\nUnderstanding of databases and familiarity with database design.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\nAdvanced degree (MS) in analytics, computer science, data science, mathematics, statistics, engineering, management information systems, decision science, or related fields\nIdeally located in the DC Metro area to attend regularly scheduled meetings\nStatistical/Predictive Analysis\nDomain Expertise (fraud) or management\n\nClearance Requirements:\n\nMust currently possess an IRS Public Trust clearance with Full Background Investigation\n\nPhysical Requirements:\n\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50%\nNeeds to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.\nFrequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
