safety observation tours of departments.\nPlan daily workloads in advance.\nSupport colleagues to optimize shift performance.\nObserve contractual requirements (National and Local).\nEnforce Shop Rules.\nPerform daily SOP audit checks.\nAdvance skills through Individual Development Plan (IDP) process.\nKeep General Supervisor Shop Committee apprised of all pending activities.\nSkills:\nKnowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures.\nKnowledge of basic math.\nStrong written and verbal communications skills.\nUnderstand of basic technology of area where assigned.\nKnowledge of scheduling and other management systems.\nRelatively high level of analytical ability where problems are complex.\nStrong interpersonal skills to work effectively with others, motivate employees and elicit work output.\nKnowledge of quality control procedures.\nEducation/Experience:\nHigh school graduate with at least 1-2 years of technical or business school
