Long-Term Substitute - Animal Science Instructor
The Wayne County Schools Career Center is accepting applications for the position of:
Animal Science (Long Term Substitute)
STARTING DATE: As soon as possible
SALARY: Substitute salary schedule
REPORTS TO: Andrew Johnson, CTE Supervisor
WORK WEEK: As per board-adopted calendar
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
CTE Licensure or CTE Substitute License issued by the Ohio Department of Education, or ability to obtain.
Any qualifications required by the Wayne County Schools Career Center Board of Education.
BCI and FBI criminal records results less than one-year old must be submitted prior to initial employment.
BASIC FUNCTIONS:
To provide effective instruction in Animal Science, following the course of study. This responsibility involves preparation and planning, both long range and immediate; understanding and applying effective professional teaching methods; and developing and maintaining effective pupil, parent and community relationships.
DESIRABLE
QUALIFICATIONS: • Proven ability to develop curriculum
• Prior experience working with high school age students
