{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"f0f447d7e8ddeebf15480ced","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/f0f447d7e8ddeebf15480ced","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/f0f447d7e8ddeebf15480ced","title":"Electrical Foreman","description":"Job Details Job Location: Rex Moore - National - Reno, NV 89502\nPosition Type: Full Time\nSalary Range: $46.20 - $54.60 hourly\nTravel Percentage: Up to 25%\nJob Shift: Day\nKey Responsibilities Effectively communicate and coordinate work and activities with project management team, GC, owner reps, crew members and other trades.\nForecast training and order manpower, material, tool, and equipment needs well in advance to ensure that the proper tools/equipment, materials, information, manpower and other requirements are on the project when needed.\nProceed with work via written and verbal instructions, plans, drawings and specifications.\nCoordinate and manage equipment rentals.\nIdentify, schedule and facilitate all jobsite related inspections.\nDocument and report all disciplinary issues to HR and implement any actions or procedures as instructed by HR or supervisor.\nPerform 10-5-2-1 on all installation activities.\nComplete a weekly SIS (Short Interval Schedule) with a minimum of 2 weeks forecasted.\nParticipate in daily and weekly team meetings.\nDemonstrate strong expertise in all aspects of trade related materials, components, equipment, systems, methods of installation, safety procedures, safe work practices, basic calculations, blueprint and drawing interpretation and troubleshooting.\nPossess leadership qualities to effectively direct a crew.\nMeet or exceed project schedules, productivity standards and monetary budgets.\nInstruct employees assigned to you in the correct operation of tools and equipment, safe work practices, electrical principles and applicable NEC.\nEvaluate employees under your supervision in a timely manner.\nEnsure a safe workplace, employee compliance with safety and health policy and reduce exposure to liability risks such as theft or damage.\nRepresent the company in a professional manner and keep both customer’s and company’s best interests as a priority.\nEmbed Rex Moore's purpose, vision, mission, and values in daily actions, interactions, lead by example and influence others to do the same.\nProvide a level of guidance, training and mentorship to all lower-level employees.\nOperate any hand and power tools and equipment necessary to perform all trade associated assignments.\nDemonstrate knowledge of construction scheduling and critical path management (CPM).\nProficient at the interpretation and application of electrical blueprints, internal shop drawings and details.\nProficient at the interpretation and application of architectural, civil, structural, plumbing and utility blueprints.\nDemonstrate effective supervision and management of all employees under your jurisdiction.\nPlan and schedule work for subordinate supervision, lead persons and crew as needed.\nComplete, in an accurate and timely manner, administrative requirements and documentation such as timesheets, labor coding, daily logs, material and tool requisitions, man-loading schedules, incident/injury reports and employee notifications.\nProficient at interpreting construction related accounting reports; e.g. job cost and risk detail.\nMonitor labor productivity, quality control and direct the crew to meet project schedules and production quotas.\nPrepare detailed drawings for the job as needed.\nTroubleshoot and resolve problems in electrical circuits, systems and equipment.\nPerform metering and testing on systems not exceeding 480 volts following live-work policies and procedures using common meters and test instruments.
