The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting electro-mechanical components and systems in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards. This role is critical to ensure the reliability and performance of our products.\r\nWhat You Will DoPerform system and sub-assembly level electronic component and small gauge wire builds, which may involve tasks such as soldering, crimping, routing, and connecting wires according to engineering schematics, work instructions, or technical specifications.\r\nUpgrades and repairs in accordance with assembly instructions and MIL-standard drawings to ensure compliance with military specifications and quality standards.\r\nFollow written and verbal directions, as well as read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, wire lists, and connector pin-outs for complex assemblies.\r\nMechanical and electrical assembly of complex Navy shipboard assemblies, including various types of populated chassis, through-hole circuit card assemblies (CCAs), and component board assemblies.\r\nConduct visual inspections and functional tests on assembled units to ensure compliance with engineering specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements.\r\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.\r\nPerform in a fabrication and repair environment.\r\nAbility to stand, sit, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.\r\nAbility to lift and move components weighing up to 35 pounds.\r\nPossess knowledge and understanding of IPC-A-620 wire and cable requirements, as well as J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 soldering standards.\r\nThis is a 1st shift, onsite position.\r\nQualifications You Must HaveTypically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/ technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience\r\nExperience with electro-mechanical assembly techniques and tools\r\nExperience with engineering drawings\r\nU.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.\r\nQualifications We PreferExperience with Microsoft Office\r\nExperience a manufacturing or aerospace environment.\r\nFamiliarity with IPC-A-620 wire and cable requirements, as well as J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 soldering standards.\r\nWhat We Offer\r\nOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
