{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"f0e4a5f2a0ea9d33f13a7a93","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/f0e4a5f2a0ea9d33f13a7a93","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/f0e4a5f2a0ea9d33f13a7a93","title":"Dimensional Inspector D","description":"Job Title: Dimensional Inspector D\n Job Code:\n Job Location: Onsite at our Redmond, WA facility\n\nJob Schedule: 4/10 Employees work 8 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked – and have every Friday off\n\nShift: 2nd shift - 10% Shift Differential Pay\n\nJob Description:\n The Dimensional Inspector will be responsible for performing inspections on aerospace components to ensure they meet quality standards, using precision measurement tools and equipment, and documenting inspection results accurately and timely.\n\nEssential Functions:\n\nInterpreting technical drawings and specifications to ensure piece parts and products meet drawing requirements\nUtilizing work instructions provided by manufacturing engineers to collect data\nCompleting first article inspections (FAIs)\nChecking parts on a surface plate using manual approaches with measuring equipment\nOperating CMM, optical comparator and vision systems to ensure compliance with programs provided\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\nRequires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience\n\nPreferred Additional Skills:\n\nAbility to create CMM programs using CAMIO software\nAttention to detail and the ability to analyze and interpret technical drawings and specifications.\nIntermediate to expert understanding of GD&T.\nProficiency in using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers and the like.\nIntermediate to advanced knowledge of operating and/or programming a CMM and vision systems.\nExperience in dimensional inspection and quality control.\nExperience as, or working closely with machinists to ensure parts are made to print.\nKnowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes and materials.\nAttention to detail and accuracy in documentation.\nStrong problem-solving and ability to create manual approaches to measuring.\nStrong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.\n\nIn compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $30.04 - $56.00. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, and Vermont is $26.20 - $48.79 This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.\n\nL3Harris announced on January 5th, that AE Industrial Partners (“AE Industrial”) has agreed to acquire a controlling interest in L3Harris’ Space Propulsion and Power Systems business. This position has been identified as one that will transition to the new standalone company upon closing of the transaction.
