An Assistant Tech, inspects product functions and monitors test procedures and equipment.\n2nd Shift: 3:00PM - 11:30PM, Monday to Friday\n\nResponsibilities\nConduct testing procedures using specialized equipment.\nIdentify and troubleshoot issues in electronic equipment.\nSolder equipment to repair, modify, and change parts, by using both surface mount and thru-hole methods.\nDisassemble and reassemble electronic devices.\nComply with quality performance standards.\nMaintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.\nEnsure adherence to warehouse safety regulations, including compliance with ESD guidelines.\nAll other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports.\nRequired Skills and Experience\nSkilled in the operation of test equipment.\nCapable of utilizing repair tools including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, voltmeters, and soldering irons.\nAbility to perform both surface mount and thru-hole soldering techniques, as well as operate automated repair equipment (BGA machine).\nProficient in soldering and de-soldering techniques.\nComfortable working autonomously and in a team environment.\nThoroughness and attention to detail in task completion.\nProficiency in computer skills required for precise data entry of completed units.\nCompetent in maintaining accurate and organized records.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment.\nPreferred Skills & Experience\nPrevious technical experience.\nAnalytical mindset and strong problem-solving abilities.\nFamiliarity with schematics.\nHandles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.\nTime-management skills.\nWritten and verbal communication skills.\nEducational Requirements\nHigh school diploma or equivalent work experience.\nPhysical Demands and Working Conditions\nWarehouse environment.\nThe ability to lift, push and/or pull up to 50 lbs., if necessary.\nThe ability to stand and walk for an extended period of time, if necessary.\nThe ability to bend, push, pull, twist, and reach in a continuous/repetitive capacity, if necessary.\n\nYou will love working in our family-oriented company!
