About The RoleAs a CBRE Mail Services Associate, you will be responsible for all aspects of the mailroom operations for a data center in the Austin area. Incoming and outgoing overnight packages will be a priority. You will be responsible for receiving, sorting, processing, and distributing incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries. This role ensures timely and accurate mail services while maintaining organization, confidentiality, and compliance with company procedures.Mailroom operating hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Lunch breaks are scheduled between 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM. In the event of high mail volume or operational demands, the assigned staff member may take a later lunch to ensure coverage.What You’ll DoReceive, sort, and distribute incoming mail, packages, and courier deliveriesPrepare outgoing mail, including weighing, labeling, and postage using mail equipmentMaintain accurate mail logs and delivery recordsOperate and maintain mailroom equipment such as postage meters, scanners, and copiersCoordinate with courier services (USPS, FedEx, UPS, etc.)Handle confidential and sensitive materials with discretionAssist departments with bulk mailings and special delivery requestsMaintain a clean, organized, and efficient mailroom workspaceStock mailroom supplies and notify management of low inventoryFollow safety, security, and company policies at all timesWhat You’ll Need:High School Diploma or GED with 3-4 years of job-related experience.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.A comprehensive understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function is required.Ability to evaluate and communicate unusual and/or complex content in a concise and logical way.In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
