Other duties may be assigned.\n\nDiagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software product issues, providing timely and effective solutions.\n\nFollows documented procedures so assemble and test company products to ensure that each product build is to the highest of quality standards.\n\nAdheres to SIO procedures and processes including ESD, FAIR sheets MRD process and others required.\n\nUses hand tools and power tools in assembly process as required by the product specifications.\n\nFollows approved test procedures to determine testing method and equipment to be used for functional testing of units assembled.\n\nPerform disassembly of OEM product\n\nPackage completed product to ready for shipping.\n\nRepairs customer service equipment by performing the following:\n\nReviews service request to determine the reason the unit is malfunctioning.\nIdentifies the parts and equipment needed for the repair and acquires material\nKeep clear, concise and accurate records of each repair including information such as product serial numbers, parts replaced, reported reason for product failure and actualcause for product failure. Funnels this information to the Customer Service Lead who enters it into the company RMA database.\n\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\n\nProven experience as a Technician in an electronics manufacturing or related field.\nStrong problem-solving skills.\nMust be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.\n\nThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.\n\nMATHEMATICAL SKILLS\n\nAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.\n\nREASONING ABILITY\n\nAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.\n\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
