As a member of the team you will work closely with analysts and operators providing software solutions for hard CNE problems. You’ll have the opportunity to work on every part of the CNE pipeline from sitting next to operators assisting them with tools we build. Providing tools to analysts so the better understand their data to make decisions supporting national security. There are a lot of big data problems in Section 7 that require thoughtful and robust solutions to provide the maximum mission gain to our customers.\n\nDevelop data transforms for every kind of data. (Text, JSON, Databases, XML, configs, etc.).\nGather feature requests, new application requirements and understand project and customer needs.\nDive into unknown data and help analysts figure out what the right questions to ask are.\nWork on tools to improve the performance of applications and transforms allowing more data to be understood.\nManage and support mission critical servers supporting CNO projects directly working as a developer of server framework and sysadmin on servers when needed.\n\nPosition Required Skills:\n\nStrong experience with python.\nKnowledge of dataframes (pandas, polars)\nKnowledge of SQL as a language and different database flavors (SQLite, Postgress, MySQL).\nUnderstanding of git and gitlab for source control.\nFamiliar with Type script/java script and react or another modern frontend framework.\nBe comfortable working directly with customers and having direct feedback.\n\nNice to Haves\n\nAWS Certifications.\nDevOps CI/CD Experience.\nExperience with agency data processing and data storage.\nExperience developing using AI Agents.\nCNO Experience.\n\nSWE2 Qualifications:\n\nYOE Requirement: 8 yrs., B.S. in a technical discipline or 4 additional yrs. in place of B.S.\n\nSalary Range: $191k-$234k (Annually)\n\nThe range displayed above is a likely salary range for this position. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
