Submit progressively developed documentation ona bi-weekly basis.Complete daily database health checks as per DOGs.Verify and validate successful database backupsProvide proactive monitoring of assigned datacenter resourcesProactively support scheduled after-hours maintenanceIdentify the root cause of problems, resolve database problems, developmethods for preventing recurrence of previous issuesPlanning, coordination, and successful execution of the assigned RNs (FSRelease Notices).Perform authorized FS work to include standing up newservers/Databases, upgrade of current databases, patch maintenance andapplication releases.Periodically play the role of queue manager in watching the queue for oracleteam and assign the incoming tickets based on ownership and workload.Attend weekly team meetings to discuss ongoing issues and provide statuson assigned items.Provide orientation to new members of the EDBA team.Help identify improvements in current infrastructure maintenance activities.Develop useful documentation for repetitive oracle tasks.Industry experience developing, deploying, and supporting database systems in mid- to large-scale enterprises.Experience in the complete project life cycle, including design, development,implementation and documentation of database management and web-based application systems deployments.Experience with a range of operating systems, with specific focus on ClientWindows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating systems.
