Level II UT ShearwaveCandidate must be local to Mt. Vernon, or Evansville, IN areas or willing to relocate. IAG will provide a full relocation package for individuals or family. The goal of the Technician is Operation Excellence and Technical Quality.Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesThis Role includes delivery of services on time, safety and with the highest quality possible.Where qualifies the position supports training, Technique development, and delivery of specialized services utilizing automated and computerized inspection systems.Customer service orientedDemonstrated ability to work in a team environment. Complexity, Decision-Making, Problem SolvingMust be able to climb ladders and carry inspection equipment/ RT sources.Must be comfortable in confined spaces. Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesThe ability to work with minimum supervision.Experience with isometric drawing of piping systems (Desired)Experience in a customer service focused organization.Strong customer service communication skills, both verbal and written.Work independently, in a safe and effective manner with minimal direction and supervision in a procedure driven environment.Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Management ResponsibilitiesNone Qualifications (Education, Experience, Certifications)High School DiplomaTechnical Degree or equivalent experience3 years in the industry Environmental/Working ConditionsThe position consists of a standard 40 hr workweek, with overtime as the customer requires and during turnaround periods. Minimum travel is required.Must be comfortable in confined spaces and willing to wear SCBA (Self containing breathing apparatus) on a semi-routine basis. Physical Demands & Work Environment:Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit/stand for long periods of time; routinely walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and reach with hands and arms.The employee must be able to lift push, pull and/or move more than 50 pounds occasionally.Work Environment: The physical environment for this position requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions in extreme temperatures and weather.
