In this role, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development and success of our hardware products, overseeing the entire product lifecycle from initial concept to production introduction. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless integration and support across Project Management, Product Management, Production, Software, and RF Development.\nYou will:\nOversee the entire product lifecycle from initial concept through to production introduction, ensuring all designs meet requirements for performance, reliability, and compliance.\nDevelop and implement system-level designs for fixed-site, portable, and mobile solutions, focusing on durable designs that maintain performance in various operational environments.\nManage the validation and testing of new designs using industry-standard equipment and methodologies.\nEnsure compliance with relevant industry standards and manage the production documentation process meticulously.\nCollaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including electrical and RF engineers, software developers, Project Management, Product Management, Production, Software, quality department and RF Development, to ensure cohesive and integrated product development.\nOversee the packaging design and implementation process to ensure product safety and regulatory compliance.\nSupport and lead the certification and regulatory approval process for new products.\nProvide technical support and guidance to other departments, ensuring a smooth transition from design to production.\nYou have:\nA Bachelor's or Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field with a focus on system-level integration.\nA solid understanding of engineering principles, including mechanical designs, electrical engineering and design for manufacturing .\nExperience in designing and validating products for harsh environments.\nFamiliarity with MIL-STDs and the qualification process.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical challenges effectively.\nExcellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and present complex ideas clearly.\nThe ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high level of ambiguity.\n\nAt Dedrone, we believe that great ideas come from anywhere.
