Staffing and Recruiting Agency is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Machine Operators to support leading manufacturing clients across the food processing, plastics, packaging, and industrial production sectors.\nThis position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on machine operation, working in fast-paced production environments, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.\nMachine Operators are responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production equipment to ensure efficient manufacturing processes, consistent product quality, and compliance with safety and operational standards.\nThis role offers an opportunity to build long-term manufacturing experience with reputable companies and stable production operations.\nKey Responsibilities\nOperate automated and semi-automated production equipment, including:\nFillers\nCappers\nLabelers\nConveyors\nPresses\nExtruders\nCase packers\nPalletizers\nPerform machine setup, startup, shutdown, and product changeovers based on work orders and production schedules.\nLoad raw materials and packaging components such as:\nBottles\nCaps\nLabels\nCartons\nPallets\nProduction ingredients\nMonitor equipment performance, production speed, and efficiency throughout the shift.\nMake minor machine adjustments to maintain proper operation and production output.\nConduct in-process and final product inspections using visual checks and basic measuring tools to ensure product quality.\nIdentify and report defects, material issues, or machine malfunctions to supervisors or maintenance teams.\nPerform basic mechanical troubleshooting and assist maintenance teams during equipment repairs when required.\nAccurately complete:\nProduction records\nDowntime logs\nQuality documentation\nMachine performance reports\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment in compliance with:\nGMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)\nHACCP standards\nWorkplace safety regulations\nFollow all safety procedures including:\nPPE usage\nLockout/Tagout awareness\nEquipment safety protocols\nSanitation procedures\nWork collaboratively with production teams, supervisors, and maintenance staff to achieve daily production targets.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, safety, and product quality.\nAdditional Duties\nAssist with assembly of components and packaging processes when required.\nUse hand tools and power tools to support production operations.\nOperate forklifts or material handling equipment when certified and required.\nMove raw materials, finished goods, and supplies within the facility.\nAssist warehouse teams with loading, unloading, and storing materials when necessary.\nMonitor material inventory levels and notify supervisors of shortages.\nQualifications & Requirements\nHigh School Diploma or GED required\nMinimum 1 year of machine operating or manufacturing experience\nFood production\nPlastics manufacturing\nPackaging\nIndustrial manufacturing preferred\nStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability\nAbility to follow technical instructions, work orders, and production schedules\nBasic computer skills for production reporting and data entry\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs\nMust be able to:\nStand for extended periods\nWalk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks\nWork in fast-paced manufacturing environments\nStrong attention to detail and quality control awareness\nEnglish fluency required (bilingual skills are a plus)\nKnowledge of GMP, HACCP, SQF, or ISO manufacturing standards is preferred\nWhy Work with Emkat Inc.?\nAt Emkat Inc.
