You will function under the supervision of the RN and surgical team, maintaining sterile fields and supporting surgical procedures in accordance with AORN standards.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain sterile field using aseptic techniquesAssist surgeons during procedures (scrub/assist role)Handle surgical instruments, supplies, and equipmentPerform sponge, sharps, and instrument countsAnticipate surgeon needs to ensure efficient proceduresSupport patient positioning, prepping, and drapingMaintain OR safety, infection control, and documentation standards RequirementsCompletion of an accredited Surgical Technologist programMinimum 2+ years of OR experience (3+ preferred)Experience in Orthopedic, General, Vascular, and C-Section cases preferredActive Surgical Technologist CertificationBLS Certification (AHA) Skills & QualificationsStrong knowledge of surgical instruments and proceduresExcellent aseptic and sterile technique practicesAbility to work in high-pressure environmentsStrong teamwork and communication skillsPhysical ability to assist with patient movement and equipment handlingIf you are interested or have any references, feel free to reach out!AshuTeam Lead - Healthcare RecruitmentPhone : 609-257-2301
