Clinical Assistant Professor - School of Pharmacy
Job Purpose
The University of Wyoming School of Pharmacy is seeking to hire one full‑time (12‑month appointment), non‑tenure track faculty member with expertise in inpatient internal medicine services. This faculty position will be hired at the level of assistant professor within the Department of Pharmacy Practice. Individuals in this position will contribute to teaching, service, and scholarship, supporting the mission and vision of the University of Wyoming School of Pharmacy. Teaching responsibilities include experiential instruction at Banner North Colorado Medical Center, as well as didactic teaching on campus in team‑taught longitudinal course series. Additional responsibilities include scholarship, academic service, professional & community service, and other duties as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Precept and teach four‑week Internal Medicine I and II Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience blocks throughout the calendar year (average is two students per rotation block for six months out of the year).
Teach in the didactic setting on campus in team‑taught courses during the academic year (Therapeutics course sequence, Clinical Pharmacokinetics, and Pharmacy Skills course sequence).
Advise pharmacy students.
Engage in scholarly activity.
Serve on school, college, university and professional society committees.
Provide drug therapy management and direct patient care services for patients within Banner North Colorado Medical Center (https://www.bannerhealth.com/locations/greeley/north-colorado-medical-center).
Supplemental Functions

Work Location
On‑site: This position provides vital support to campus customers, and the successful candidate must be available to work at Banner North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, CO.

Minimum Qualifications
Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE‑accredited program
Completion of a pharmacy practice residency (PGY1) or equivalent experience
Hospital‑based internal medicine work experience
Eligibility for pharmacy licensure in CO
Valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) compliant with the Driving for University Business SAP.
