Responsible for ensuring that the approved process design and standards for Plastics Manufacturing are implemented and sustained.\n\nJob Duties & Responsibilities:\n\nProcess Monitoring:\n\nMonitor and control manufacturing processes to ensure they are running efficiently and meet quality standards. These include injection molding, vibratory welding cell and extrusion line.\nGood understanding of Allen-Bradley PLC system software and hardware\nWorking with and understanding of Allen-Bradley HMI systems\nConduct regular inspections and checks to identify deviations from established parameters and take corrective actions.\n\nQuality Assurance:\n\nConduct quality checks and inspections to ensure products meet specifications.\n\nCollaborate with quality control teams to implement corrective actions and improvements.\n\nSkilled in reading electrical prints\n\nThorough understanding of the process of trouble shooting issues\n\nProcess Optimization:\n\nKnowledge of making PLC changes or looking at various parts of the program.\n\nCollaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to implement validated process changes.\n\nTraining and Development:\n\nStay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices.\n\nWill work with hand tools – primarily electrical\n\nMust have e a good understanding of electrical and controls systems pertaining to our production environment.\n\nParticipate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.\n\nShare expertise with colleagues and contribute to the development of the team.\n\nOL Employee Training and Development\n\nConduct assessment to identify training needs and skills gap with OL employees.\n\nCollaborate with shift supervisors to understand specific team or individual training requirements.\n\nConduct training sessions for employees, utilizing effective and engaging instructional methods.\n\nCollaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training content is accurate and up-to date.\n\nData Analysis:\n\nCommunicate well with production and management to resolve issues.\n\nSafety Compliance:\n\nAdhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.\n\nParticipate in safety meetings and training sessions.\n\nEquipment Maintenance:\n\nPerform routine maintenance on production equipment to ensure optimal functionality.\n\nCollaborate with maintenance teams to troubleshoot and address equipment malfunctions promptly.\n\nJob Qualifications:\n\nAAS degree or related job experience, in a technical discipline; mechanical or manufacturing engineering preferred.\n\nMust be legally authorized to work in the United States\n\nMust be able to lift to 50 lbs.\n\nStrong computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office applications.\n\nStrong multi-tasking skills.
