This role works closely with Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Engineering (ME), Supply Chain Quality, and Inspection teams to ensure compliance, product integrity, and continuous improvement across processes and products.\nKey Responsibilities\nQuality Planning & Job Approval\nLead Planning Approval process activities in coordination with the QA team\nLead Planning Job Approval activities to ensure manufacturing readiness and compliance\nReview and verify manufacturing plans for technical and quality accuracy\nEnsure planning packages meet customer, regulatory, and internal requirements\nInvestigation & Disposition Activities\nLead investigations related to:\nMRB (Material Review Board) items\nSupplier Quality Engineer (SQE) rejections\nInternal and external nonconformances\nDrive root cause analysis using structured problem-solving methods\nDocument investigation findings and recommended actions\nPresent findings and recommendations to cross-functional teams\nRCCA & Corrective Action Leadership\nLead Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) activities\nDevelop, implement, and verify corrective and preventive actions\nTrack effectiveness of corrective actions to closure\nSupport customer and internal corrective action requests\nRMA & Disposition Review\nReview RMA (Return Material Authorization) items\nDetermine technical disposition and required follow-up actions\nCoordinate with Engineering, Quality, and Operations on resolution paths\nEnsure proper documentation and traceability of decisions\nTechnical Documentation & Process Support\nProvide technical support to ME and Quality teams including:\nProcess Control Documents (PCDs)\nWork Instructions (WIs)\nProcedures and quality documentation\nWrite, update, and maintain controlled technical documents\nEnsure documentation reflects current process and compliance requirements\nTooling & Inspection Support\nAssist with technical evaluation of tooling issues\nWork with inspectors and Manufacturing Engineering to:\nEvaluate tool design concerns\nRecommend corrective improvements\nValidate tooling suitability and compliance\nSupport first article and validation activities as needed\nContinuous Improvement\nPartner with Quality Manager on continuous improvement initiatives\nParticipate in process improvement and waste reduction projects\nAnalyze quality data and trends to identify improvement opportunities\nSupport implementation of best practices and standardized methods\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related field) or equivalent experience\n3+ years experience in aerospace or regulated manufacturing quality role\nStrong knowledge of:\nQuality systems and standards (AS9100 preferred)\nMRB and nonconformance processes\nRoot cause and corrective action methods\nExperience reviewing manufacturing plans and technical documentation\nAbility to lead cross-functional investigations\nPreferred Qualifications\nAS9100 / aerospace quality system experience\nMRB authority experience\nRCCA / problem-solving certification (8D, Six Sigma, etc.)\nExperience supporting customer audits and corrective actions\nFamiliarity with ERP/MES systems and controlled documentation systems\nKey Skills\nStrong analytical and problem-solving ability\nTechnical writing and documentation skills\nCross-functional leadership and collaboration\nDetail-oriented with strong decision-making capability\nEffective verbal and written communication\nAbility to manage multiple investigations and priorities\nSuccess Metrics\nTimely closure of MRB and investigation items\nRCCA effectiveness and recurrence reduction\nPlanning approval cycle time performance\nAudit and customer escape reduction\nDocumentation accuracy and compliance\nContinuous improvement project results\nJob Type: Full-time\nPay: $85,000.00 -
