The months designated are subject to change.\nOklahoma Teen Conference (February/March)\nChild Welfare Conference (February)\nChild Passenger Safety Technician Update (March)\nDCCCA Foster Family Conference (April)\nLeading Causes of Life 5k and Festival (April/May)\nKansas Suicide Prevention Coalition (May)\nKansas Youth Advisory Council Summer Conference (June)\nSummer Sendoff (August)\nKansas Home Visiting Conference (September)\nKansas Regional Youth Workshops (September)\nRecovery Month Celebrations (September)\nDCCCA United (September)\nDouglas County Youth Empowerment & Prevention Kickoff (September)\nKansas Opioid and Stimulant Conference (December)\nKansas Traffic Safety Teen Conference (November)\nConsults with internal and external partners to determine objectives and outcome requirements for events, such as meetings, conferences, and conventions\nManages conference vendor, service provider, and sponsorship relationships\nNegotiates and executes contracts, utilizing Request For Proposal (RFP) processes\nCoordinates speaker logistics including, but not limited to, research, outreach, and database maintenance\nMay assist with developing event topics and choosing featured speakers\nDesigns and implements efforts to publicize events and promote sponsorships\nDevelops and executes recruitment plans to engage participants\nManages event and conference budgets, coordinating with program directors and managers as needed\nReviews event invoices for accuracy and approves payments\nResearches and selects conference app platforms and content\nCreates content for web presence and social media posts for each event\nPlans, manages, and implements registration of event participants\nCoordinates services for events, such as accommodation and transportation for participants, facilities, audio-visual equipment, catering, signage, displays, special requirements, printing, and event security\nInspects event facilities to ensure they meet expectations\nDesigns, produces, orders, and organizes conference materials\nFollows fire and health department safety protocols\nConducts and reviews post-event evaluations to determine how future events could be improved and implements improvements as appropriate\nMaintain records and reporting of various event aspects, such as attendance, budgetary details, etc.\nResolves conflicts and handles participant concerns\nEducation, Experience, and Licensure\nBachelor's degree, required.\nTwo years successful event planning, project management, and/or closely related experience, required.\nMust possess a valid Kansas Driver's License, in force automobile liability insurance, and maintain a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) that meets organization's insurability standard as defined by DCCCA policy.
