The primary responsibility of this position is to accurately scan and label items, physically process customer packages, and ensure they are correctly tracked in the inventory management system. The agent is also responsible for maintaining precise and efficient workflows to ensure items are ready for shipping and delivery to customers.\nResponsibilities:\nResponsible for the manual loading and unloading of cargo\nOperate handheld barcode scanners to scan incoming and outgoing packages\nVerify product information by scanning item barcodes and checking for accuracy\nLabel packages as required to ensure proper shipment\nMaintain high accuracy in scanning to minimize errors in shipment and receipts\nMove packages to the correct locations within the warehouse\nWork collaboratively with team members to meet daily scanning and packing goals\nFollow safety protocols and standard operating procedures in a fast-paced environment\nReport any discrepancies or issues to leadership\nInspect and communicate on damaged packages to leadership\nEnsure proper handling and storage of cargo in accordance with safety regulations\nEnsure proper documentation is applied to the correct freight\nParticipate in training programs on freight handling, safety, and compliance\nMaintain a clean and organized work environment in freight handling areas\nAttention to detail\nBrings their “A” game every day with energy and enthusiasm, respect for their team, and the highest regard for safety\nMay be assigned other duties as required\nQualifications:\n18 years of age or older\nEligible to work in the United States\nWarehouse or inventory management experience is a plus\nAbility to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, to include documents\nAbility to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices\nEffectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means\nPass a background check and drug screen\nEligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)\nAirlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts that change every 3-4 months including nights, weekends and holidays\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential requirement satisfactorily.
