The ideal candidate will have extensive experience using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), strong knowledge of GD&T, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality manufacturing standards.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nConduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems.\r\nPerform precise inspections and measurements using CMM equipment to verify compliance with engineering drawings and specifications, and identify areas for improvement.\r\nDevelop and execute inspection plans and procedures for complex machine parts.\r\nCollect data systematically during inspections and compile comprehensive reports to support quality analysis and decision-making processes.\r\nDocument inspection results accurately and maintain complete quality records.\r\nCollaborate with CNC Machinists to address non-conformances, implement corrective actions, and enhance overall quality systems.\r\nParticipate in internal and external audits related to quality assurance, maintaining meticulous records of inspection results and compliance documentation.\r\nIdentify, report, and help resolve non-conformities in collaboration with production and engineering teams.\r\nConduct in-process, final, and return-to-vendor (RTV) inspections as required.\r\nSupport quality system activities, including updates to quality documentation and procedures.\r\nMaintain calibration records and perform routine maintenance checks on inspection equipment.\r\nMaintain inspection schedules and ensure timely completion of daily quality checks.\r\nSkills\r\nStrong knowledge of quality inspection techniques, including the use of calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, and other precision measuring instruments.\r\nMinimum 5 years of experience in quality inspection within a machining or manufacturing environment.\r\nStrong proficiency in operating and programming CMM equipment.\r\nProficiency in operating coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and vision inspection systems for detailed dimensional assessments.\r\nSolid understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).\r\nExperience with CNC-machined components and manufacturing processes.\r\nAbility to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.\r\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.\r\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic data reporting.\r\nFamiliarity with ISO quality standards preferred.\r\nExcellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with machinists, engineers, and management.\r\nAbility to perform comprehensive quality audits within manufacturing environments.\r\nExcellent analysis skills to interpret measurement data accurately and identify root causes of defects or deviations.\r\nJoin us as an Inspector where your expertise will drive product excellence!
