We have physical offices in Austin, TX and Tampa, FL, if you prefer a hybrid option.\r\nWhat You'll Be Doing\r\nPartner with designers and engineers to develop and implement design system components and patterns via React and Storybook.\r\nPartner with designers and product teams to develop robust, extensible, and accessible UI components.\r\nWrite secure, maintainable code that powers, participate in code reviews and lead cross-team initiatives, and document processes thoroughly.\r\nOther duties as needed.\r\nAbout You\r\nBachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science or Engineering.\r\n10+ years of recent working experience with JavaScript & CSS.\r\n5+ years of recent working experience with REACT.\r\nExperience building product applications with a strong emphasis on front-end development using React, combined with back-end expertise in Java.\r\nAbility to work in a cloud-native environment (AWS); experience with deployment pipelines or observability tooling.\r\nExperience working with Design System software such as Figma or Storybook.\r\nExperience with React Query.\r\nExperience with accessibility, internationalization, adaptive UI, responsive design, and other core UX considerations.\r\nExperience with front-end testing frameworks, the value they provide, and how to write effective tests.\r\nFostered habit of constant code and system improvement by refactoring and thinking critically about the system.\r\nProvide constructive feedback on team's design choices and code.\r\nComponent-based user interface development experience, including how to construct and deconstruct components, with a focus on creating composable and reusable UI elements.\r\nExperience working with AI and working with a team leveraging AI, or willingness to learn.
