Outside Sales Manager (Entry level)
We are looking for an Outside Sales Manager to expand our service footprint, build strong customer relationships, and drive growth. The company is focused on producing, exceptional quality industrial hydraulic tools & equipment, expertly designed with customer safety, efficiency & reliability as a priority, & manufactured not only to meet but exceed the industry standards.Location: Kansas City, MO 64153Onsite role with Travel required: 30-40% in the West coastWhat’s the Job?Grow revenue in target markets by developing new business and expanding existing accountsProspect, qualify, and close new opportunities with OEMs, distributors, and end-usersDevelop strategic account plans and maintain a robust pipelineProvide technical solutions for hydraulic systemsUnderstand customer needs and recommend product and service solutionsCollaborate with engineering and tech support to deliver effective proposalsManage the full sales cycleLead generation, product demonstrations, proposals, pricing, negotiations, and contract closingEnsure accurate forecasting and quarterly/annual sales targetsBuild and maintain relationshipsEstablish trust with customers through regular visits, technical guidance, and responsive serviceRepresent company at trade shows, conferences, and industry eventsCollaborate cross-functionallyWork with service teams, parts, and manufacturing to meet customer commitmentsProvide market feedback to product development and marketingWhat’s Needed?Proven outside sales experience** in hydraulics, fluid power, or industrial automation (1-3+ years preferred)Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales targetsTechnical aptitude to understand hydraulic components, systems, and applications preferred but will train the right personExcellent communication and negotiation skillsStrong presentation and proposal-writing abilitiesSelf-motivated and disciplined** with a strong work ethicTravel readiness to cover assigned territories up to 40%Valid driver’s license and clean driving record*A complete job description will be provided.If this is a role that interests you and you’d like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
