Video Editor/Shooter

FireTeam is growing like… wildfire!FireTeam is a creative advertising agency working with the top brands in the DTC space. We’re looking for a full time video editor/shooter to help bring our creative ideas to life.Does this sound like you?You are a master of your own creative destiny. You know how to shepherd ideas from script to final video edit with ease. Not only do you know how to operate a camera and audio equipment, but also how to make the most of a shoot, even if it means going a little rogue on the shot list. Then in the edit, you know how to capture and hold someone's attention for as long as possible, which is a requirement for social media advertising.More specifically, this job entails:Shooting and directing advertisements. In most cases you will be leading a crew of 1 to 3 peopleConsulting with our Production Ops Manager on shoot resourcesVideo editing of ads for social media. These are rarely longer than 2 minutesReviewing creative and ideating on new ideas or improvementsRequirementsProficiency with video editing software, specifically Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere)Proficiency operating a camera and audio equipmentHelpful but not 100% necessary:Experience with AI tools or other video editing tools at the forefront of our industryExperience working in marketing/advertising, specifically in DTC and paid socialA familiarity with systems/programs such as:NotionSlackLocal to the RI/Boston areaFireTeam is a growing team of multi-specialists who help grow and scale brands of all sizes. From assisting cool startups with their launches, to helping 9-figure brands become brands everyone’s heard of, we love all types of challenges. We currently have 3 team members in Rhode Island, 1 in Boston, 1 in Texas, and 1 in LA.
