This role will focus on optimizing extrusion processes, improving product quality, troubleshooting production issues, and supporting new equipment and material development.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop and improve rubber extrusion processes for materials including FKM (Viton), EPDM, Neoprene, and Hypalon\nSupport setup, installation, and maintenance of extrusion and autoclave curing equipment\nWork with tooling teams to improve die design, reduce scrap, and maintain dimensional accuracy\nTroubleshoot production and curing issues to improve product quality and efficiency\nPartner with Materials Engineering on testing and new compound development\nCreate and maintain SOPs and work instructions\n\nQualifications\n5+ years of hands-on rubber extrusion and autoclave curing experience\nStrong knowledge of high-performance elastomers including Viton, EPDM, Neoprene, and Hypalon\nExperience setting extrusion parameters including temperatures, screw speeds, tooling, and dimensional controls\nUnderstanding of rubber curing chemistry and continuous curing systems\nBachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field\n\nA bit about us:\n-\n\nWe are an established, leading manufacturer in Southern California, with a global presence as well.
