The above represents the standard Corporate Policy.\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\nServe as the primary daily liaison between local management teams and the General Manager across multiple bus operations and maintenance facilities\r\nLead the development and implementation of driver assignments and fixed route transit operations\r\nOversee dispatch operations and ensure service reliability and compliance\r\nImplement and manage progressive discipline processes that support accountability and employee development\r\nMonitor daily operations and performance to ensure efficiency, safety, and service quality\r\nDevelop and execute operational and resource allocation strategies to support safe and effective service delivery\r\nChampion a strong safety culture by modeling safe behaviors and reinforcing safety focused practices\r\nEstablish safety as a core value and top priority across all divisions\r\nDevelop and manage division work plans, including staffing models, objectives, strategies, and key performance indicators\r\nLead and oversee transit related projects and cross functional teams\r\nEnsure customer and public needs are met through responsive and reliable service\r\nQualifications\r\nStrong background in transit operations required\r\nExperience managing bus operations and maintenance environments preferred\r\nProven ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment\r\nCustomer focused with strong attention to detail\r\nExcellent problem solving, decision making, and organizational skills\r\nExperience developing and reporting on operational, safety, and quality performance metrics preferred\r\nExperience supporting continuous improvement initiatives preferred\r\nPhysical Requirements:\r\nMust be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.\r\nThis position is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.\r\nWork environment will be a combination of both indoors and outdoors.\r\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
